[...] There’s nothing intrinsically better about a Korean or Japanese athlete than an American one in baseball. In fact, Americans have almost all the athletic advantages. But over the years, American baseball has turned on power, with many of the finesse elements going by the wayside. Think, as an analogy, of the grace the immensely talented Barry Bonds once played baseball with. Then think of him now. (And read the inane defense of him on LewRockwell.com.) Or think about the steady erosion of pitchers who throw knuckle balls, although by many counts, notably Tim Wakefield’s, it can prove very effective for a team’s season because it eats innings to the tune of a .500 winning percentage.
I mean really who would takes stuff or rub stuff on ones body and not know what it was or what it is used for.

Barry Bonds is not a stupid man. He knows what he uses and what he is using it for. The man is old and needs all the help he can get to stay in a game that he Quotes "loves" and feel competitive. I mean look at the mans armor he wears just to keep him from getting hit.

He is breaking records and is on steroids and if he is found guilty for not telling the truth to the grand jury can they really take it out of the record books all that he did. I don't know if that is possible. They may just have to put the astrick by it.

The thing I don't get usually if a person is under investigation about something that has to do with their job. The person doesn't get to continue to do said job. The person would have to take a leave of absents until the matter is cleared up. So why is Barry Bond still swinging a Bat and Playing baseball. He should be suppened until the Grand Jury makes their final decision. But that is not going to happen.

For the "LOVE OF THE GAME" Barry needs to leave.

I am totally through with major league baseball. The commissioner knew there was rampid steroid use and refused to do anything. Pete Rose was banned for life from baseball for betting on games. Did his betting give him an unfair advantage in winning games? I don't think so. Barry Bonds will ulimately be found guilty of perjury before the federal grand jury. When that day comes, major league baseball should ban Barry from major league baseball and erase his name from the record books.

All anyone has to do is look at Barry Bonds in his days with the Pittsburgh Pirates .... All my cards show him as a normal person, then shortly after that, when he joined with the S.F. Giants, his head size exploded... I am no expert on this subject, but it seems to me that while your body might get big from lifting weights, no way does your head size increase that much, unless we are talking about his ego

Chicago White Sox' Frank Thomas gave video testimony. Bonds, it has been reported, began using steroids after the 1998, and watching McGwire and Sosa thrill baseballs fans with a heated homerun race, in which McGwire ended up shattering the long-held record of former New York Yankee Roger Maris, passing Maris at 61 and finishing the season with 70 homeruns.
