What if the fumble is never actually recovered since they alll heard a whistle? What is the logic behind having contact activity after the players are “ordered” to stop all contact? What if a player sees a fumble, and in the chase of trying to recover it “AFTER” a heard whistle, he makes a vicious contact with another player? Is this a late hit?
