Roy Williams Calls out Byron Leftwich
Roy Williams has laid down a challenge to the opening week quarterback.
Cowboys Pro Bowl safety Roy Williams is looking forward to the matchup against Jacksonville quarterback Byron Leftwich. Williams believes the defense could have a big day because of Leftwich’s risk-taking in the passing game. “Byron [Leftwich] does not have a problem throwing that rock,” Williams said. “He’s cocky and arrogant and he’s going to take chances and that is going to give us an opportunity to get our hands on the ball.”
Bold words. I hope he backs them up.
