Usually this took place in front of the entire team, although I wasn’t the only dude who needed to do it. The entire procedure sucked, since we could then get dressed and chow down before the meet (to keep our endurance up). The scales are pretty exact, though, and dropping everything often made the difference. In four years, I think a hundred or so dudes saw my naked butt on the scale. Not fun!
