West Coast Conference Opens Play
The first games of Conference play starts today for the West Coast Conference and it begins with a rematch of last season’s Conference Tournament Final between Loyola Marymount (LMU) and Gonzaga. In last season’s final Gonzaga nipped LMU 68-67 on the mother of all air balls by the LMU. This season they enter number 1 and 2 in the preseason conference poll as LMU looks to end Gonzaga’s conference and home court dominance this afternoon in Spokane.
Other games on the West Coast Opening Weekend:
Pepperdine @ Portland
San Diego @ San Francisco
St. Mary’s @ Santa Clara
