Where in the world is Dan Wilkinson?
Have you seen this man?
If former Dolphins defensive tackle Dan Wilkinson doesn’t report to the Broncos to take a physical by Friday the March 3 trade will be voided, according to a source.
The Dolphins dealt Wilkinson, who turned 34 on Tuesday, to the Broncos for a sixth-round draft pick. It’s thought that Wilkinson is either contemplating retirement or looking to avoid preseason conditioning.
Wilkinson, who deftly avoided offseason workouts before joining the Dolphins in August, appeared in 10 games as Keith Traylor’s backup. He had 14 tackles, three pass breakups and one forced fumble.
Wilkinson, the first overall draft pick in 1994, has played for four teams over 13 seasons.
I remember Wilkinson’s acquisition by the Dolphins but remember nothing about his play. A 6th round pick sounds like a great deal to me. Too bad this player’s going AWOL may cause it to be voided.
Hopefully Wilkinson is alright, and nothing has happened to him. Anyone want to put his face on a milk carton?
