They suffer from the moment they are born until heartless humans like Michael Vick and his ilk decide that they are not vicious enough, cruel enough, evil enough to kill another of their own kind, at which time Vick or one of his cronies then DROWNS them, ELECTROCUTES them, HANGS them.

Hold on, George Bush is still president of this country and we’re talking about Michael Vick?

Replace those dogs with human beings and send them to a desert in Iraq instead of a bullpit in a backyard and you got the exact same situation, only legally sanctioned by the United States Congress.

Give me a break. Open up your EBay stores and sell Vick merchandise. Screw the dogs, aren’t human beings more important? Besides, he hasn’t even been convicted yet…duh.

NFL management put up a good front a couple of months ago of cleaning up the image of the sport with some serious suspensions, well-deserved for players who committed some serious crimes. Yesterday, the rubber hit the road, and, once again, America showed the world that all that really matters is the almighty dollar. Michael Vick provides the money, the property and facilitates the breeding and training and perpetuation of one of the most horrific of crimes – the fighting to the death of otherwise smart and gentle animals. Those dogs must be tortured in order to behave that way. They suffer from the moment they are born until heartless humans like Michael Vick and his ilk decide that they are not vicious enough, cruel enough, evil enough to kill another of their own kind, at which time Vick or one of his cronies then DROWNS them, ELECTROCUTES them, HANGS them. And, the NFL and the Atlanta Falcons want him to represent them? No wonder the rest of the world hates us! What an embarrassment to pretend that you’re wringing your hands in turmoil worrying about what is the right thing to do. Nike, you made the right decision, and you’re the only ones. Even if the Falcons and/or the NFL make the right decision now, it’s TOO LATE – you’ve already shown the world what’s more important to you – the CASH – no matter what the cost.
