Romo Breaks Aikman TD Record – With 7 Games Left
Tony Romo is having an amazing season. Tim McMahon puts it in perspective:
Tom Brady has 33 TD passes, so Romo’s total isn’t exactly being generating wows from coast to coast. But 23 is still a ridiculous number through nine games. To put it in perspective, Troy Aikman threw a career-high 23 TD passes in 1992, when he won his first Super Bowl.
Quite impressive. There are a lot of tough games left but, if he stays healthy, Romo should certainly throw another 18-20 TDs, putting him in the low 40s.
