NFL Draft 2009 Round 7 #214 – Miami Dolphins- LB J.D. Folsom
I expected Miami to seek linebacking help earlier than this.
NFL.com analysis-
Folsom has decent speed and was a productive player while at Weber State in Ogden, Utah. He will go to the Miami Dolphins and fight for a roster spot in the linebacking corps.
ESPN writes-
Folsom is an undersized OLB who is going to need to add bulk to be a more effective run defender. However, he does have upside in terms of his overall instincts as well as long range.
He’ll have a uphill climb to make the Dolphin roster.
