There has no been a finer gentleman than Don Sutton associated with the Atlant Braves. It is just another reason they are losing market share. Ernie’s knowledgable, Pete’s okay, Skip’s rude and arrogant, and I can’t speak to the kid, ’cause I haven’t followed them since Don left. He will be truly missed. Fair winds and following Seas -Don

Don Sutton is by far the best announcer in baseball. He knows so much about the game and while with Atlanta he always found a way to relate topics to baseball instead of making silly jokes like Skip Carey. The people at TBS got it wrong thinking that everybody loves Skip because nobody I knows really enjoys listening to him. I wish Skip would retire and we could have Pete and Don call the games again. Go Braves and go away Skip!

I miss hearing Don Sutton. It’s a shame that a way couldn’t be found to keep him. I also enjoy hearing Skip & Chip together. After 17 yrs? Shame on somebody. I don’t like hearing the guys from channels other than TBS. ANd I hate it being on Fox. I don’t miss a game if I can help it. Via TV.
As far as I’m concerned the changes haven’t been for the better. I liked it better when SS was Turner South. This is my south!

Don Sutton's departure from the Braves broadcast booth is disappointing. While each member of the crew is important and fills a valid role, there is one role Sutton played that no other can. That role is "inside the lines". As a former player and current Hall of Famer, Sutton provided insight that only someone who has been there can communicate. I wish him best with Washington.

Don should join Tommy Hutton on the Marlins TV broadcasts. Sutton and Hutton would make a great team.
